ATVs means All Terrain vehicle, it is a vehicle which is used for entertainment. According to American National Standards Institute (ANSI), it is vehicle that has low pressure tires, with handlebars for steering control and a seat which is straddled by an operator. ATVs are designed in a way that it runs in any condition and on any type of surface. It is basically designed for running in terrains. ATVs are designed to handle wider variety of terrain than other vehicles. In most of the countries you will it a street legal vehicle. Most of the parts of Australia, United States and Canada, it is not a street-legal vehicle. At present only one person is allowed on an ATV. Although it has four wheels but it is operated like a motorcycle. The four wheels are provided to give extra stability. In some ATVs you will find 6 wheels but these ATVs are designed for special applications. At present, the engine size of the ATVs ranges from 49 to 1,000 cc.
